The new Exhibition and Conference Center of Podgorica reinterprets the fair complex as a flexible, living infrastructure that connects architecture, landscape, and public life. Suspended on pilotis, the main exhibition floor unfolds as an open, reconfigurable platform where mobile partitions and modular elements allow the spaces to transform — from large-scale events to smaller conferences or installations — always maintaining visual continuity with the surrounding park and mountains.

Above, three sculptural volumes host the main congress halls, restaurants, and offices, opening onto an extensive rooftop garden conceived as a green extension of the interior. This elevated landscape functions both as a climatic buffer and as an accessible terrace that offers new vantage points over the city.

The glazed façade wrapping the exhibition level acts as a dynamic interface between inside and outside: transparent by day, it becomes an interactive luminous screen by night, projecting light sequences and information about ongoing or upcoming events.

Combining technological precision and environmental awareness, the project integrates passive ventilation, photovoltaic systems, and rainwater recovery into its architectural language. The result is a fluid, sustainable structure that adapts to different uses and rhythms — a contemporary landmark capable of embodying the evolving identity of Podgorica.
