Tenet is an architecture studio based in Milan and led by Leonardo Chironi, Stefano Passamonti, and Letizia Pella. With a cosmopolitan outlook and a multidisciplinary approach, the practice offers integrated design and consultancy services across architecture, MEP systems, energy, structural engineering, and safety. Tenet works across all scales—from selected private commissions to design competitions—covering residential developments, commercial spaces (including shops, restaurants, offices, and pop-up stores), and high-end housing such as short-term rental apartments.
At Tenet, design is both a productive process and a cultural practice, where professional expertise is grounded in a strong theoretical and critical foundation. With a focus on transformation and adaptive reuse, the studio places particular value on working with existing conditions—seeking precise, context-sensitive solutions that emphasise clarity in construction, discreet integration, and ease of use. Each project is shaped by the belief that constraints can generate new spatial and conceptual possibilities.
Tenet pursues innovation and research in every project, in Italy and internationally, drawing strength from the close connection between professional practice and academic work. The partners are actively involved in teaching and research, ensuring a continuous exchange between theoretical investigation and built reality.
Tenet’s work has been featured in international publications such as Abitare, Area, Domus, Elle Decor, Industria delle Costruzioni, Dolce Vita, and The Architect’s Newspaper, and has been exhibited at institutions including the Triennale di Milano, Drop City, and the Milan Chamber of Architects. In 2025, Artribune named Tenet one of Italy’s top emerging architecture studios.
